About Me

Brian Koze is currently in his 5th year of study within the Architectural Engineering Program with an emphasis in Lighting and Electrical design at The Penn State University. He will be graduating with a BAE in Architectural Engineering in May, 2011. Mr. Koze is active in the local community and participates yearly in THON and its related events through his fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau. He is also a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society. Last summer and continuing through this academic year, Brian is participating in an internship with a local State College based engineering consulting firm called Michael L. Norris & Associates, Inc. This firm specializes in lighting / electrical and mechanical design. Brian works under the head lighting / electrical designer within the firm and has used this experience to gain insight into real world applications of his studies. Throughout his five years at Penn State, Brian has participated in many philanthropic activities including THON and Habitat for Humanity. These activities and many more, all were done through the fraternity Zeta Beta Tau which Brian joined the fall of his freshman year. Upon joining, there were only eight members and Brian has since helped the organization grow to 27 active brothers. Brian also enjoys fishing, bowling, soccer, and other outdoor activities.
